What is a Tennessee Squire?
A Tennessee Squire is a member of the Tennessee Squire Association, which was formed in 1956 to honor special friends of the Jack Daniel’s distillery. Many prominent business and entertainment professionals are included among the membership, which is obtained only through recommendation of a current member.
Is Jack Daniels distillery dog friendly?
Service animals are welcome at the Distillery; however, they must be restrained at all times. The Jack Daniel Distillery and Visitors’ Center is a smoke-free facility.
Why Jack Daniels is not a bourbon?
Jack Daniel’s is not a bourbon – it’s a Tennessee Whiskey. Jack Daniel’s is dripped slowly – drop-by-drop – through ten feet of firmly packed charcoal (made from hard sugar maple) before going into new charred oak barrels for maturing. This special process gives Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey its rare smoothness.
